All aboard to set sail into history for an evening of dinner, drinks, music, games, and to relive the carefree days of cruising the Great Lakes on the SS South American. At Little Bear Arena on Friday, July 22 at 6pm, the Michilimackinac Historical Society will host a fundraising dinner reminiscent of the traditional Captain’s dinner; a festive event celebrating the end of a voyage.

In addition to a catered dinner, the evening’s agenda includes a presentation about the SS South American, an awards ceremony for Prentiss M. Brown, Jr., recipient of the MHS Bridge Award for Historical Impact, and live music by the Celtic duo, Switchback.
