[History Hounds] Pere Marquette: The Man, the Mission, and the Memorial with James Jensen, Mason County Historical Society.
Father Jacques Marquette, French missionary and explorer, was an important figure in North American history. Join us to learn about his 17th century North American explorations and to explore the controversy over the location of his death along the Lake Michigan shoreline and the memorial erected to honor him.
