Flail

$100.00

Early settlers had to harvest their grain by hand. Then they had to separate the edible kernel from the chaff...again, by hand! A flail, similar to this one, would be used to strike the wheat or oats until the kernels fell away. This kind of work would take a toll on your shoulder, for sure!
