Pipes were often used in Native American ceremonies. This pipe bag features a Woodland Ojibwa design, and could have been used to hold a ceremonial pipe or one for everyday use. The tobacco and two pieces of the pipe could be stored in this bag, and then it could be assembled for use as needed. Good storage is always important!
