Projectile points come in many shapes and sizes. This particular sample is made of brass. It was probably made from a brass pot that was no longer in use. You can almost picture someone sitting by the fire after a long day, carefully shaping and sharpening this bit of brass for an arrow tip. These brass projectile points had the added benefit of being much lighter than stone, which allowed the arrows to fly further. Think of this as an early form of recycling!
