It's one thing to have a fish break your line when you're using a relatively cheap hook you picked up at your local outfitter. It would be another thing entirely to lose one of these stone fishhooks! They're made entirely by hand. This one looks like it might have been a work in progress. Typically it would be honed to a sharp point by hand with another stone or perhaps a deer antler. You use what you have available, right?
